We have produced a number of documents you can use to talk to your MP to enlist their support.

We want you to get involved to help get as many MPs as possible giving their advocacy as described in the document ‘Briefing Paper for your MP’.

January 12th – The House of Lords begin their detailed examination of the Pension Schemes Bill in committee stage.

  1. Please could you define for me what you mean by a Pre-97 pensioner. Is this based on retirement date or something to do with my years of employment?

    1. Hello Paul,
      Apologies for such long delay in replying.
      Pre-97 refers to years of service before 6 April 1997 – as your pension for these years are subject to discretionary increases.
